How Clean is the Water We Surf In?
In our January meeting, Dr Jack Skinner and John Kappeler gave us an in depth look into the quality of the water we are surfing in.
Did you know that “safe” bacteria limits would result in 1 in 50 of us getting some sort of illness after swimming or surfing.

Now that you know, come out and join us at 52nd street Newport Beach, Saturday 6 February from 3:00PM for a beach clean up. We will need extra hands this month after all the rain.
Register or sign up to Volunteer for the Annual Rockwater Relay Race on March 20th and help raise awareness about the watershed. What gets thrown out on the streets will end up in our oceans and on our beaches.
