Photographs tell the story best. Rockwater 2010 on March 20th attracted the biggest field ever with just under 50 participants tackling the 28.9 mile Santa Ana River trail in relay teams.

Yes there were race winners - Cruisin’ for a Boozin’ on the bikes, Suburban Runoffs in the mixed team, Inglorious Legitimates in the run team, HQ All Stars taking home the best dressed and best race rock ribbons and the prestigious Wooden Spoon for the last team home that went to Team Possible.
But the real winner of the day was Watershed awareness. Irvine MINI donated $1000 to Surfrider Foundation, Newport Beach Chapter on behalf of The Suburban Runoffs team who brought in four large bags of trash. All the teams made a big effort though and collected many bags of trash along the route and at the finish at Huntington State Beach.
