International Surfing Day Challenges

Internation Surfing Day on June 20th is sure to be an exciting day. Surfrider Foundation Newport Beach Chapter will be at the Huntington Beach Pier. Join us, Vitamin Water, Surfing Magazine and Project Save Our Surf for a Beach Cleanup 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM / 24-hour Surf-a-thon (ongoing until 12:00 PM) Bags and Gloves will be provided as well as other give-aways and prizes. There will be lots of fun prizes for challenges on the day. Head over to the International Surfing Day website to find out more about the events around the world and the challenges.

2nd Annual RockWater Race a success!

We had a great race, with 22 runners this year. The winning team - Surfrider HQ- finished in a time of 4 hours and 8 minutes! See some of the race photos here.
